Hi, I'm quite a way through CPDN - is there any way of moving its data files to my linux (Ubuntu) system so it just carries on where I am up to now? If there is .. is this a universal method for other projects? Many thanks, David |

It's up to each project. Projects don't really have any reason to keep the intermediate data (like checkpoints) cross-platform. On my own project, for example (Renderfarm@Home), I'm absolutely sure you would NOT be able to transfer a workunit between computers with different integer endianness (that would be from Windows/Linux/Mac-intel to a Mac PPC or the other way around). |

Hi, If you need to 'abort' the work unit, try to do your best to abandon it at model years 1961, 2001, or 2041 (it uploads a restart dump just before those years). |
