Their website loads fine for me from my Linux box and from my Android phone just now. Can't speak for a couple of hours ago when you posted.

Numberfields is down.
Scheduler, web site and download servers are all MIA.

It's been about 2.5 hours now.

Any official news yet of the status of Numberfields? Is it finally gone for good with the server hardware dying and no intention of fixing the project once that has occurred?

It seems to be spreading. Now Einstein - normally one of the most reliable projects - is going the same way. Website is slow as molasses, and server responses to BOINC requests are timing out.

Yes, seems to be spreading. Nothing much to run on Boinc these days with either projects ending or server failures or projects that haven't had work to crunch for months or years.

CPDN has a couple of thousand tasks that are ready to crunch, so long as you have 4 cores and 26GB RAM free for them. Project is limiting them to one per machine, so to run two at once, you have to go down the container or the VM route. (I have chosen the VM one. Because it is climate science, uploads are quite big too. 46x350MB now they have been reduced. Still a few of the older ones with 700MB zips to upload.

LHC website is slow to load or initially times out. Been that way for me for about 4 hours now. Doesn't seem to be affecting my LHC BOINC task upload or download at the moment.

Asteroids is down and not responding to the client. Scheduler times out and forces increasing backoffs.

Some time next week, CPDN will be off-line while the database is tidied up. This may be for up to a week. Uploads go to the JASMINE server rather than Oxford so can still be sent. Trickle up messages for credit will go through when the servers come back up.

This will get rid of the tasks showing as in progress on the server status page from model types that have not been used for many years. Also there will be no new work till next year. This will give everyone time for Santa to ensure they have enough RAM for the multi-core tasks that require just over 26GB or RAM!
