I have searched this board and the Wiki. Can someone explain the differences as well as the advantage/disadvantage to the "Network Activity always available" vs "Network Activity based on preferences"? I figured out the "Network Suspended" :-)

Since I have a cable modem, will my results update more often/faster when I have set to "always" active? Does it affect my work queue?

Thanks in advance.

It's a feature set in the General Preferences (I took Seti there as an example).

Scroll down to Use network only between the hours of X and Y (or No restriction).
You can tell BOINC to only upload/download work at the times set between the hours of network use, so not to overload the network/internet in companies, schools, big farms. ;)
