Is still alpha/beta project, but it is also the first BUDA/Docker project. It's about LLM (Large Language Models) and, for now, has only linux app. Here the url: http://boinc.llmentor.org/LLMentorGrid/ |

Is still alpha/beta project, but it is also the first BUDA/Docker project. Noticed the website is a non-secure http (no S and has no SSL CERTIFICATE). That's a POTENTIAL BIG PROBLEM going forward. They can get a free SSL SECURITY CERTIFICATE from letsencrypt |

It's also in the alpha stage yet, and requires the BOINC client that is unreleased yet, so having HTTP so far is ok. But this is definitely something that should be fixed in the first place. BOINC maintainer. For any insight, check my BOINC Development Blog. |

Presuming 8.1.0 should work? I have posted in the project forums as I think my problem is with buildx and docker. |

It's about LLM (Large Language Models) and, for now, has only linux app. boboviz Sorry for my question. Does your project team have a Linux app launch specialist? Our ODLK2025 project needs help from such a specialist. See https://boinc.mak.termit.me/odlk2025/forum_thread.php?id=5&postid=108 The project administrator needs some advice on this issue. We will be grateful for any help. |

bobovizI think you will find it isn't boboviz's project and I suspect the project owner has their hands full with getting their own project up and running. |

I am contacting the author of the message https://boinc.berkeley.edu/forum_thread.php?id=15436&postid=115384 I think he knows the team of this project. ...and I suspect the project owner has their hands full with getting their own project up and running. This will not prevent the specialist from giving advice. I am not asking to launch my project, it is already launched and working! |

I would like to point out once again that the forum subscription does not work. Could the site authors fix this? I quote Вы подписаны на First Buda/Docker Project. Вы получите уведомление, как только там появится новое сообщение. I don't receive notifications of new messages. |

Yes, but it's a development version. It might not work as expected. BOINC maintainer. For any insight, check my BOINC Development Blog. |

In reply to Nataly-Mak's message of 7 Feb 2025: I would like to point out once again that the forum subscription does not work. Do you receive any other email from the *.berkeley.edu domain? Sometimes we receive reports that emails are not delivered, but this might be because for some reason your email provider is in the blacklist of the Berkeley University, and this is not something that we can fix in any way since there are top level security policies that must not be violated. If you receive any other email except notifications from this forum - please send me or David Anderson an email from the email you experiencing issues describing the problem, and we will try to figure out what's going wrong. In reply to Vitalii Koshura's message of 7 Feb 2025: Yes, but it's a development version. It might not work as expected.I get that. Having been on their site I see there have been computers with 8.0.4 completing tasks. I think my problem was not having added boinc to the docker group but by the time I had done that, there were not tasks ready to send. |

In reply to Dave's message of 7 Feb 2025: In reply to Vitalii Koshura's message of 7 Feb 2025: Unfortunately this is something I don't know. I was not able to test Docker functionality yet (David was mostly working on it), since I'm busy with other topics (new Windows installer, that sounds like something easy and with lowest priory but unfortunately it took a huge amount of my time, for more details check my blog if interested). Closer to the alpha test I'll check that, or will delegate that to our alpha testers (should be quite engaging to a lot of volunteers since this is really a huge step forward for BOINC and the community). Do you receive any other email from the *.berkeley.edu domain? Yes. I recently corresponded with David P. Anderson, and his email is from the berkeley.edu domain. Perhaps I don’t understand what a domain is and what mail hosting is. |
