How come there is no advanced view/mode/options in the MacOS version of the BOINC manager, like on Windows.

You can't set the max CPU percentage usage, and stuff like that, and it's the same with Folding at home, also a very minimal and simplified client interface.

Looks like you are not familiar with MacOS.
Because the applications' menu is actually looks like the system's menu on the very top of your screen.

But then a feature request, unless it's already possible.

How to disable the efficiency cores, and have BOINC only use the performance cores?

This speeds up Folding at home on Mac, if you limit the CPU core use to 4, cause the other 6 are E cores, so it this possible in BOINC on MacOS?

This is not supported natively on BOINC AFAIK. Maybe there are some other tools on Mac to achieve this but I'm not aware about any of them.
