my .02. Could you please add the column sorting back in from version 5.8.6?? That was great! I run about 10 projects at a time and it let me easily find projects and tasks much easier.

Yes. That feature is slated for the 5.10.x line.

The feature was completely buggy and broken, so it was temporarily removed until they could solve the problems. They didn't make it in time for 5.8.8 release though.

If they had released 5.8.8 with column sorting, we would have twice as much people complaining about the same known problems over and over again...

[edit]here is an example of one of the bad bugs. That's what it looks like when you sort projects by status.

hmm. On my 5 machines, I did not have a problem.

If I dont have problems, is the any issue with letting them run 5.8.6?

At your own risk, as always. I can give you a subjective answer, I didn't have any problem with it, except for: everything on the GUI Manager.
