I did my occasional check of the download page, and saw that version 8.0.0 is now available to download. I now have it installed on three handsets: Android 9, 11 Go, and 12. They are currently running tasks, and will see soon how they deal with task-switching.

So far I've notice one difference: before, I would have an issue with trying to run more than one Rosetta task at a time; it would usually bring up the "battery" issue ('Battery needs to be at xx%, battery currently at yy% [usually at some value higher than xx]') within a couple of hours. Now, I've managed to run two Rosetta tasks for nearly three hours without any pauses.

EDIT: This is on the Android 12, with 2.8+ GB RAM.

Another thing I've noticed: when I suspend BOINC, the popup in the notification bar disappears; it only appears while BOINC is running.
