How does one go about making the change? Will and work or optimized applications be lost? Work and optimized applications will not be lost. Then reinstall using service mode. The service will start even before you log in. BOINC Manager can be still used, either manually or on login (like it did on single-user). ID: 7935 ·

Same place as on single-user installation, on C:\\Program files\\BOINC (more accurately, %programfiles%\\BOINC, since the folder name is language-specific). In fact, if you change the folder path during installation, you would lose your WUs, optimized apps, etc, since the client_state.xml and all the project files would still be on the place they were when you installed single-user.
