I am running version 7.22.2
Primegrid on the CPU and it runs fine
Gerasim is on the GPU and it the problem, it doesn't request more work often enough, so it is always running out. If I do a manual update it usually gets work.
Is there a way to set up a app_config.xml to get it to request work more often
I don't want to get anymore for Primegrid as the tasks take a long time and if I get anymore they will exceed the deadline

Have you tried increasing the weighting given to Gerasim compared to that of Prime Grid by going to resource share in both projects under project preferences on their websites? Default for all projects is 100. Increasing Gerasim to three or four hundred should make a significant difference assuming both projects currently set to default.

I did that it helped. i have been experimenting.
I also increased the send no more than each time to 128 in Gerasim which helped.
I also added max concurrent to the prime app_config.xlm file to make sure I had enough CPU threads to run the GPU tasks.
All these changes have had it running GPU tasks all the time for the last 24 hours. So all fixed

Looking at the Gerasim project preferences page there is a setting for the maximum number of task (work units) one can get in a day the default is 20. It might be worth increasing this and see what happens.
