Yes, feeder is dead. And with no support outside of office hours, I'd be surprised if the problem is fixed before Monday, in Toronto.

Well, it seems some things aren't going to change. Since the switch from IBM, I think the last 2 months was the longest that the system had been up (more or less) since.
But it is now more than 3 months since the returned valid results don't get purged. This was never a problem before, so why are they unable to get this fixed quickly?
With all this data amassed since end of October, with won't get any easier as time goes by... :(

Won't even bother to ask if all those WUs from June through September 2022 are ever going to be credited as promised before (that's about 5 years of runtime for me)...

No need to check FB, there's no news there of course. X formerly known as Twitter, is totally useless nowadays without an account, so I never check there.

EDIT: It's back again now. Just a short outage this time.

For those interested in OPNG tasks, there is an increasing number OPNG work now, after a long time of no GPU work at all.
Now would be a good time to try to get some of them, before they run out again.

WCG down again. 503 error

The website works on and off. I managed to post on the forum, but then it became a 503 error again.
A minute later it worked, and next minute 503 again.

Edit: Now it's really screwed up. 503 errors, and then suddenly System error, and getting logged out.
Not possible to log in again when the website comes back, and then it goes away again. At least the
BOINC part of WCG still works.

Odd, website is running smoothly from here.

No problems with website or forum here.

The website, forum, and BOINC, recovered pretty fast, it took an hour or so. So for now, it's all normal, or as normal as WCG can be nowadays.

It's clear, that WCG can't handle more than one (MCM1) project at the time. When it handed out only MCM1 work, it worked
pretty well, but now with OPNG work also, the website goes down often. At times even the BOINC part struggles, which
sometimes can be seen in the BOINC log.

Edit, added: And it's back. It only took 10 minutes this time.

Getting lots of 503 error message when trying to login &/or view forums. Sometimes the forums show I'm logged in when it's viewable but mostly it's not showing as logged in.

Android tasks won't download last several hours but not sure about desktop as I'm away from home right now.

Yes, WCG's website has been totally F'ed up, since OPNG tasks became available again. It's a Yo-Yo system, and totally unreliable.
The only part of WCG that works, at least almost normally, is the BOINC part. I'm getting hundreds of OPNG tasks/day.

If/when ARP comes back, the entire system will crash and burn, and be down for weeks or months (again) . There's no doubt about that.

I don't know exactly when the WCG website fell over this time, but it's now totally screwed up again.

And the forum error is : Error 500: javax.servlet.ServletException: net.myvietnam.mvncore.exception.DatabaseException: Error executing SQL in MVNForumPermissionWebHelper.getPermissionsForGroupGuest.

When it comes to WCG work through BOINC, at least OPNG seems to be very scarce at the moment.
I haven't selected MCM1 work, and with the System Error, it's not possible to change the settings either of course.
So, I can't say if it's possible to get any work at all from WCG.

I guess we just have to live with another "WCG is down" weekend, since they do not have any support during weekends, and outside of office hours.

MCM works comes in very slowly since yesterday. I received just one this morning.
Upload works.
If WCG is down, I switch to Asteroids@home.

WCG *finally* posted on Facebook about the sever outage crash:

The WCG website is currently down because the database server became unavailable on the network and rebooting it threw a libvirt error in our cloud environment. As a result, we are currently unable to recover the server until we hear back from hosting. We will continue to provide updates as we work to resolve this issue.
