Hello all.

I am having a problem using BOINC, but I don't know if it is the client issue or the manager issue.
(BOINC version 7.20.0 x64, Windows 10-64bit 21H2).

The problem is that I set the projects to ''NO NEW TASKS'', but when the last projects finish running and uploading, then the projects are setting to ''ALLOW NEW TASKS'' on it's own and receiving new tasks. Is there a way to fix that?

Are you using an Account Manager (BAM!, Science United)?

Yes. I am using gridcoin manager

GRC pools (Gridcoin) shut down end of 2022:

The long running grcpool is being replaced. The next pool will be rolled out over the next several days.

The primary change will be no more userid/password logins, you will use your GRC address along with your GRC wallet to verify ownership and manage your BOINC Client.

The "legacy" pool will still run on the backend sending out GRC owed. There will likely be an interruption in payouts during this development period. Legacy accounts will be deleted from the system when their magnitudes reach near zero.

I managed to solve the problem (that's I believe...). They have an option in their site setting that you stop to receive new tasks automatically.
