I have a Genefer 19 WU that has been running for 9+ hours (according to the BOINC manager Tasks screen) and has 18+ hours left to complete. However the progress percentage (4.277%) has not changed over time. I have my PrimGrid preferences set to use 2 CPUs for the Genefer WUs. All other PrimeGrid and other project WUs' progress percentages update to completion.

I am running the following projects in addition to PrimeGrid: WCG, Moo Wrapper, NFS@Home, NumberFields@home, odlk, SRBase, TN-Grid Platform.

Task might be stuck...
*Try this first:
Note you might loose some progress on tasks that have long checkpoint intervals.
Suspend/Pause BOINC, wait about 1 minute.
Shutdown / exit BOINC, wait 2 minutes.
Restart BOINC, unpause/resume BOINC.
After tasks have been running for 5 minutes see if the progress on the PrimeGrid task is advancing.

This works in most instances. If task not advancing post back and then me or someone else can try to figure out what is causing the stuck progress bar.

I went through the suspend/restart procedure you outlined and the Genefer task progress remains the same after 10 minutes.

I see they just updated the Genefer 19 program/application yesterday 20 Nov 2022, therefore It's best they know about it and do more troubleshooting.

Thank you for your help. The task eventually completed within the past 24 hours and a new Genefer WU started with the new version of the application. I see that it is updating the progress. I will continue to monitor all new Genefer WUs for any similar issues.
