I have been running BOINC manager along with the above project now for a week after upgrading to Windows 11 Pro. It's been doing just fine, other than some issues not being able to start any other new projects. But this problem is with the BOINC manager itself.
Now suddenly, when starting the manager, it hangs for about 10 seconds while presumably retrieving projects, then the window pops up to Exit the manager or cancel. Hitting cancel just does the same thing over and over. Exiting of course exits fine. No project ever is retrieved and started. I have down a reboot twice, I have uninstalled boinc manager and reinstalled with latest version as stated above, nothing changes. No hardware changes either. It was all fine until today.

10 seconds is not enough time. Give it at least 2 minutes. Depending on how many projects and files for each project need to load, it might need even more time.
