Hello, running: Boinc Manager 7.16.11 OS: Win10 64-bit Hardware: AMD 3800x, 32-GB RAM, RTX 2070 Super 3 Projects: Rosetta@home, SETI@home, World Community Grid I've noticed my computer is not processing projects lately. I was just a member of SETI and WCG. I think SETI has paused work but WCG should be active. I added Rosetta but after a couple days, no work is being performed by my computer. CPU and GPU utilization are both minimal. What can I do to troubleshoot why I am not processing? Thanks in advance |

Hello, running: SETI is more than paused, it will never return again. You might as well remove SETI from your BOINC. WCG has been shut down since late in February, due to a migration from IBM to Krembil in Canada. It's close to being back again, but for now you should not expect any work from WCG. If you see a message from WCG in the BOINC event log that says: "This project is using an old URL. When convenient, remove the project, then add https://master.worldcommunitygrid.org/" IGNORE that message, and do NOT do what it says. When it comes to work from Rosetta, I do not know if there are any issues with that project, since I have never participated in Rosetta. I'm sure someone with experience of Rosetta will come here and answer your question about possible Rosetta issues. |

There's a thread here: Rosetta@home down? about Rosetta, which says you need VirtualBox. |

I had read that WCG was changing servers but didn't realize they were totally down. Yeah, SETI is dead. I started running that back in 1998 or 1999, never found ET. I see a follow up reply that Rosetta requires Virtual Box. I just need to pick some additional projects to work towards. Thank you for the reply. |
