Hi,

I've seen this problem reported by various people but can't find any solution offered:

Problem description: Can't interrupt the screensaver except by pressing Ctrl-Alt-Del.

At this stage it appears I have only two options: Live with the problem or remove the screensaver.

I've just upgraded my system to the following:

Processor: 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-12600 3.30 GHz
RAM: 32.0 GB
Display adaptor: NVIDIA GeForce GT 1030
System: Windows 10 Home - 64 bit
Version: 21H2
OS Build: 19044.1620

BOINC Version: 7.16.11 (x64)

Projects: Rosetta@home

First thing I would try is reducing the number of cores BOINC can use by one or two in computing preferences. There has been another thread in past day or two about Rosetta hogging resources and BOINC being unresponsive.
