Been using Boinc for a few years (!).
I migrated to Win 11 and dedicated all my cores to the African Rainfall Project which I know is pretty heavy but all was working fine and has been for several weeks.
Suddenly maybe a week ago (not sure on the precise timing) things ground to a halt. And I mean a minute to change from one app to another. I didn't even normally have it on "Suspend when Computer is in use"
I just let it do it's thing.
Any thoughts? I'm quite happy to throttle back ARP and mix with other projects from WCG, but something has changed recently for me and I'm wondering what.

My laptop is fully updated in terms of windows...
Obviously it has been hogging 6GB of my 8GB of memory, but everything was working okay, I don't do anything heavy on my laptop, a bit of word, excel, Facebook, that sort of thing. So if feels as though something has changed.
As an afterthought - I have downloaded Malawarebytes (as I did a clean install of Win 11) and it has found some Potentially Unwanted Programs...

I don't have an answer, but it may be something you need to take up with the project.

As for cpdn, there's been no new Windows work for months, just an occasional re-send.
And for the Linux work, the models require at least 2 gigs each, so that computer is very under resourced.
