Hello World,
The Idea to put BOINC Manager and later on BOINC Client to the Steam Software store arose in a GRC chat. I think it might be a wonderful chance to reach a huge audience / userbase with super high end hardware. And it would open up new possibilities such as seamless integration of BURP ( http://burp.boinc.dk/ and blender ( https://www.blender.org/ )
Who would be capable && authorized to get in touch with Valve?

I'm looking forward to hearing from you, cheers.

You can do it yourself. I don't think any of the regular BOINC devs will take any interest in your proposal.

Distribution of BOINC has always been done by the BOINC website and through all the distro maintainers.

They have been perfectly happy with that arrangement.
