I signed up for climatecontrol.net because the servers for the other three projects had each successively gone temporarily offline and my machine was idle.

My work unit assigned was over 6900 hours with about an 11 month deadline. This is on a 1.4 GHz amchine. Since it has no useable checkpoints and I don't run 24x7 anyway, there seemed to be no point, and I terminated that work unit and declared no more.

However it is still occupying 136 MB of disk space. How do I get rid of that?

It checkpoints every 5 model days (perhaps 10-20 minutes?), and uploads it's progress every model year (12-24 CPU hours). The deadline is ignored by climate projects (although it may have an affect within boinc if you run multiple projects).

Your question about deleting the aborted model files has been answered here:

Carey, are you sure your computer isn't 2.4GHz? It may be a faster worker than you think.
