Most of them are. I only know of one project that doesn't publish its source code for their application. The acemd3 code is not published by GPUGrid because it is owned by Accelera.

No clue. Never run them.

The programs run by climateprediction.net are owned by the UK Meteorological Office, and so are not open source.

I thought I read a post within the last week that had a URL link to OPNG project software, but I can't find it now.
Unsure.

What about World Community Grid?
The main working component for the covid-19 project (Autodock for GPU) is at

https://github.com/ccsb-scripps/AutoDock-GPU

But WCG themselves add a lot of packaging to make it run under BOINC - I'm not sure if that is open-source. And WCG runs multiple science projects: whether each working component is open-source will depend on each separate research group/institution.

When they make it out of testing CPDN OpenIFS tasks will use open source code.
