I was just wondering if such a feature already exists for BOINC manager that I cannot find. If not, I would love to see this implemented in the software. From time to time I like checking on the work progress at night by just glancing at my monitor. But every time my room lights up even though the brightness is dimmed down all the way... Any way of implementing this feature to darken the window (maybe even in 2 "darkness" variations) all the way. I only see the option to change from the standard to the advanced view but no other skin/design. Even though I know that a lot of guys tend to run larger computer pools headless, it would offer a great convenience factor for those who are not. Would appreciate any pointers as I didn't find a similar thread through the search function. |

WxWidgets doesn't support dark mode, at least on Windows: https://forums.wxwidgets.org/viewtopic.php?t=45869 |

Thanks for your feedback. But if that is the case how come that the Folding@Home application offers such user interface design settings that change the whole window to black. There are actually multiple themes a user can choose from with many of those belonging to the what I would call dark mode group. |

Does folding use wxwidgits? It is many years since I last ran FAH and that was before I had ever heard of dark mode or wxwidgits for that matter. |

And there we have it... Probably not. I'll first try to research this. Sorry for that stupid question. |
