https://www.virustotal.com/gui/url/d0d21ab35ec8a038ff3a3c8d010937c7a4fd8cf907ce6fcc9f641cb646fa829c/detection (main site) reports everything clean.
https://www.virustotal.com/gui/url/37a2e7abbcca38d4cfaf7b4ff11de784f16a3458be2bfa5514e14272335e830a/detection (forums) reports everything clean.

So you have a false positive, which you'll have to report at Malwarebytes.

Not that unusual, all it takes is for a small fragment of code to match that in a known virus or other piece of malware. It has happened with CPDN and a number of other projects over the years.

I don't know how many lines of code are involved in the Prime Grid executables but the CPDN ones can have over a million lines of code so there are lots of chances for a match.

The report, as with many of these, was about the website - not about any downloaded executables.

Please have a look at my message 100040 (July 2020, a similar event concerning a different project). If you have a premium subscription, you can raise a ticket - give them as much detail as possible - and they really will look into it and let you know the outcome.
