I see someone has got over a million signatures on the parliamentary e-petition page to have another general election. Probably a kipper/Brexit/Reform type. |

Jeremy Clarkson Just Destroyed Keir Starmer On Live TV Call for elections at 2.9 million. |

Clarkson is a buffoon willing to do anything for publicity. Starmer reflects the same politics as Blair. "Tony Blair MP" aptly being an anagram of, "I', m Tory Plan B." |

Look beyond who's saying it and listen to the message he's saying. It's not about Clarkson. He just reaches masses others do not. |

In reply to Richard Haselgrove's message of 24 Nov 2024: ... We don't do coalition governments, even during wartime. Not at all true. The UK was governed by a coalition government from May 1915 until Oct 1922, first with Herbert Asquith as Prime Minister, succeeded by David Lloyd-George. Ramsay MacDonald's minority, sustained in office from June 1929 to Aug 1931 with Liberal support, finally collapsed and was replaced by a "national administration", that is a coalition including members of all parties seated in the Commons. From then on, until Clement Atlee won a majority in the 1945 general election, the UK was governed by a coalition administration. |

I have just watched the most bizarre thing, I've seen for a very long time. Trump attending the WEF i Davos, virtually from Washington. Speaking to a bunch of equally bizarre capitalists, and answering as* ki**ing questions from some of them. If only 10% of what he says will come true, we're in to a he** of a crazy four years. It's scary, and probably the end of WTO, and the rule based world order. The wild west, is back.... I'm not a psychiatrist, but, Trump would likely be diagnosed as a........................... That virtual appearance of Trump, in front of the WEF in Davos, will probably appear in my worst nightmares. |

Didn''t take long for a judge to rule one of his executive orders was unconstitutional though! Sadly, I don't think his tariff based approach to the American economy will get the same treatment though. |

DOGE is Gestapo. This is just the beginning, since SCOTUS has ruled that the President have full immunity for everything he does in the role as President. I'm sorry, but the U.S in on a fast track towards fascism and dictatorship. "There will be no need for any more elections" Remember who said that, and when? Putin and Xi, is laughing their a**es off. |

I remember the day after Roe V Wade was overturned, a far right you tuber (who has visited Mar-A -Lago), posted a video in which he celebrated the decision, ranted gleefully about freedoms and ended with the words "Remember our goal is the Handmaidens Tale and nothing less." |

The plan is clear and obvious. Of course Trump/Putin/Xi needs Canada as the 51:st state. With Canada in the U.S, the whole of North America is linked to Russia, with just a short body of water in between, and Russia already shares a border with China. Three totalitarian states joined into one huge totalitarian state. The project with the Manchurian candidate worked. Hello George Orwell. You only had the wrong year. |

Another Trump Special from yesterday "We take over, and own Gaza". I guess it is OK then that Putin wants to own, at least the Eastern part of Ukraine. It's getting more and more bizarre this v2 of the Trump presidency, |

When will Trump demand the equivalent of the mineral resources he covets in Ukraine from Israel? After all they have received much more in military aid over the years. |

It's doubtful, that The U.S will survive as a democratic state, after 4 years of Trump V2. If the SCOTUS as it is today, in any way rules against V2, he will simply pack the court, with totally loyal judges. And with the congress totally in his hands, he will succeed in packing the court. Game over. |

Interesting. In a very right wing pub last night some rump supporters were upset about one of his moves (it would hurt them) and talked about getting out their flintlocks and ... . They were serious about armed rebellion if he went ahead with something he has threatened. |

The standard of marksmanship in the US doesn't seem exactly high! |
