Hello I have searched high and wide on the internet, but I can't find the solution, so here I am trying to post on here

I am currently running Pop!OS 20.04 , which is a derivative of Ubuntu. I am running the latest BOINC version 7.16.6

This is my current setting for my computer

<run_if_user_active>0</run_if_user_active>
<run_gpu_if_user_active>0</run_gpu_if_user_active>
<idle_time_to_run>0.5</idle_time_to_run>

My problem is that whenever I use the computer, the boinc client never return from being suspended. In order to use the CPU/GPU to compute at all, I need to set it to always run, which I do not want to do, as it makes my computer stutter and sluggish.

I tried setting to just GPU not used if active, and still the same problem.

Please help me with this problem. I am a complete noob to this, and I hope all you experts can help me solve this.
