I do not know why the mods feel a need to whitewash the ugly behaviour of a self confessed anarchist, who by his own statements hate the democratic society, at least most of us wants to live in.
Declaring all of us more or less as unthinking idiots, all the time, and also admitting to not give a damned about the laws, and the rules our democratic societies have elected to live by.

Stop using the words that he's "spreading misinformation". He is spreading hatred towards our democratic societies, confesses to illegal activities, and shows that he doesn't have a clue about stuff he
claims that he's right about. Whenever someone mentions any established truth, no matter in what field, he immediately disagrees and comes up with some crazy home-brewed ideas, about how
it really is. This is way more than "spreading misinformation". To the forum and 99% of the participants, it is forum sabotage at best, and Internet terrorism at worst.

Subversive activities is what he's up to, not only in this forum, but in every forum he's posting on.
Such behaviour is breaking several of the posting rules, and the mods knows it, but refuse to act to permanently stop it.

Posting Rules:
Posts must be 'kid friendly': they may not contain content that is obscene, hate-related, sexually explicit or suggestive.
No commercial advertisements.
No links to web sites involving sexual content, gambling, or intolerance of others.
No messages intended to annoy or antagonize other people, or to hijack a thread.
No messages that are deliberately hostile, threatening, or insulting.
No abusive messages involving race, religion, nationality, gender, class or sexuality.
Posts that violate these rules may be deleted.
The posting privileges of violators may be suspended or revoked.

If your account is suspended, don't create a new one.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if we who wants a forum that works according to the rules, and is a safe, and nice place to participate in, in the end will be the ones getting perma-banned, and the real perpetrator of disruption only gets his normal vacations.

Sigh!

And the argument continues after he's left. I have to wonder which are the bad guys.... you can't even agree among yourselves.

Yeah, Kyle Foster came on the forum the last time when Peter H was banned too. :-)

'm not going to ask that of David
The root problem is David's forum code. When a person hides another, they should be hidden. No new message flag. No long set of empty boxes. Just silence!

Glory - A long time ago I decided not to go to France in July.
Grumble - Loads of Brits decided to go to France for a holiday and are "enjoying" their holiday stuck in the queues at the Channel Ports trying to get there. And, on the assumption they do get there, they will be stuck in the homeward queues in about two weeks time.

All this fuss - allegedly - about a stamp in a passport. I had mine stamped at St. Pancras and Gare du Nord for EuroStar, and I didn't even notice till I got home. It takes no time at all.

Reminds me of the days of Postman Pat & pre-Eurostar days.
10 of us traveled to France for a Champions League game in a 12 seater transit.
Stuck at Calais with a lot of other traffic.
Collected all the passports for the group.
Had a lovely chat with the official & got all passports stamped.
Mine was a big help in getting it done. :-)
Brexit just brought it to the fore more than anything else.

Glory.
Just received the water bill. Earlier this year got notification from Anglian Water that they're fitting smart meters.
Couple of weeks later, get a letter saying all done. Didn't even notice the loss of water until it was done.
Was actually surprised at the bill. Was expecting it to be approx. £20/£30 higher than this time last year.
It was actually £99.40 less. :-)

Also received a letter from landlord.
"Re: Thanks your account is now in credit."
DUH!
Pay online every month using my online account.
Didn't get one last month.
Wonder if I'll get one next month?

Glory & bliss.:-)
Just filled up the kettle as gasping for a cuppa.
Got a call yesterday.
The scheduled new boiler was for Monday but it was over booked, but they had a slot for after 11 am today.
Got caught short, they turned up at 07:55 this morning, quickly filled kettle then had to shut off water.
Water just turned back on. :-)
In all the time spent in logistics, arrived early to drops sometimes, but never 3 hours early.

You have luck on your side today... maybe you should play the lottery.

Good thing you were available for the time slot. Even here in the USA, anything more than 15 minutes early for delivery &/or install is unheard of. Most often it's about 15 minutes late.

Well. they did phone the day before, so no point in going out until the job was done.
The actual boiler installation was complete by 11:10, but had to wait another 90 min or so for the electrician to turn up & wire it up & also replace the thermostat with a new digital one.
As for doing the lottery, do so & regularly.
In an average year spend about £200 & get £250/£300 back.
I have found over the past few years that quite a few decent wins came off a free ticket.
Won a free ticket last night. That makes 7 for the year so far with some nice wins. :-)

Finally got a response from company who supplied immersion. Another copy of customs request for payment sent to them as they don't seem to be able to find the first one.

And Glory! Tax on immersion now refunded by company who say it had been paid at the time of export and they don't know why Parcelforce was asking for it again. Not sure if they are chasing to get the money back from HM revenue and customs or not.

I knew you Brits were weird, when I tried Marmite (nope), but didn't know you're this weird: https://twitter.com/Reuters/status/1555770640673624069
Ketchup and mayo-flavored ice creams, anyone? Londoners basking under the hottest ever summer are getting the chance to sample a range of rather unusual ice cream flavors

The ice-cream trade has always been a law unto itself - they'll freeze and sell anything if they think that jaded punters can be persuaded to buy them.

Those sound like they would go well with the deep-fried mars bars, which come from the same heritage.

Yes, but that's still slightly edible. Putting your condiments into ice cream though? Or baked beans?

Apparently, ice cream with chilli used to be a thing. - Was listening to a radio programme about it yesterday. Not going to try the baked beans one though!
