This page and many others and people in forums I discussed it with suggest it ain't that easy: https://technastic.com/install-windows-11-unsupported-hardware-cpu-tpm/
Weird you can bypass TPM easily and I can bypass M$ account easily, but not the other way round. I think every version is different.
And don't call me stupid again, it makes me cry.
Never said it was easy. What I was referring to was Installing Win 11 Home.
It won't allow a local A/c setup, must use an M$ A/c.
Best way around that is to enter one's M$ A/c or enter a fake e-mail then disconnect from the Internet.
It will come back at you, so keep hitting the next button. For me, it only took 4 hits.
As for installing 11 without TPM, you didn't look hard enough, not easy but simple if one knows what they doing.

Grumble
E-mail received.
Hi,
Application xxxxxxx is only a partially completed application – it has not yet been submitted to us for review. Please can you log back in to the form, complete and then submit this.
Grantapproval.co.uk is owned by a third party, Ascendant Solutions Ltd, and was registered by them and is not a council owned website.
Thanks,
WTH?
App was completed.
However, it seems their original form was not fully ready at that time & now has further info added [checked against printout of original completed app).
New one (sweet frigging jesus) was requesting too much personal info for a lousy 150 quid.
Near the end clicked on continue & got taken to Walsall Council WTF?
After all that stupidity, finally got confirmation on completion & get another e-mail.
Thank you for completing your request online.
Your request has been saved under Reference Number: xxxxxxx

Oh my word.
Must check e-mail more often, :-)
That lengthy complaint e-mailed to the Council yesterday mentioning both GDPR & DPA must have done the trick.
Your request with reference number: xxxxxxx has been updated.

Message from Peterborough: Your application has been approved for payment. Payment will be within the next 3 days by BACS into your account. As payments take 3 working days to clear please do not contact us querying this until at least 6 working days after receipt of this email.
So Tuesday should be a nice day as the overpayment of CT should also being going in. :-)

Reminder: let's keep politics as much as possible out of this and other threads, and only in its Let's talk politics thread. I've reopened that one. Not going to move everything from here to there.

Major Grumble: DOLTs who don't bother to read affected project forms or news posts and instead post asking for help all over various 3rd party BOINC forums.
Then you point them to "solution" and then DOLTs post back still saying it's not working.

As a former programming teacher of mine alway had on the information board in the classroom: RTP^3 = Read The Problem, Read The Problem, Read The Problem!

If all else fails and it seems tempting to read the instructions, don't panic, get a bigger hammer!
I am reminded of the story of the engineer called in because of a problem with the engine on a steam ship. After hearing a description of the problem he walked into the engine room, tapped a valve with a hammer and the problem was sorted. The captain of the ships was upset with the £100 bill for just tapping a valve with a hammer. The engineer then sent an itemised bill.

Hitting valve with hammer £5
For knowing where to hit £95

I'm not even sure what multiplying three verbs together would result in.

Got plenty of the black stuff for the boys. :-)
Mobile phones & coms headsets are very sensitive.
Sometimes too sensitive.
As one poor Council Employee found out yesterday evening.
If you finish for the day at 17:30, don't make outgoing calls close to finishing, especially when answering a complaint e-mail.
She did agree with my concerns as many in her department have the same concerns, but they had no choice in the matter.

10 min before call ended, heard a male voice say, haven't you finished yet darling?.

Think Amazon are "taking the Michael"
Had a little mishap yesterday morning, sat on my headphones, broke them.
So not one to waste components, thought order all at once.
So Laptop DVD & HDD from dead laptop removed.
2 enclosures, headphones & a DVD box set. Order split in 2, 3 items in 1 & the 4th arriving separately.
WTH?
