A bit arcane for non-UK folk but nevertheless,

How many letters to 1922 committee have been written by Johnson's supporters to make sure the vote is held before the by-elections?

I'd rather doubt any were. Boris has been totally eclipsed, publicity-wise, by the royal Jubilee over the last few days - and he was even booed on arrival at one event. I think he was planning some eye-catching announcements of future goodies over the next few days, to remind the punters what they like about him: but now he's only got time for a quick pep-talk to his own MPs in private before the vote. I doubt that'll do much good - the payroll vote will probably see him past this bump in the road anyway.

The question is - how long will he survive after that? Margaret Thatcher and Theresa May both survived their initial vote, but neither could hang on for long.

54 or more, or in other words 15% of the 359 members of Tory party.

Hi Andy,

Thank you for your email. We made a mistake on our first Jubilee email and put the wrong date, and we sincerely apologise for the error.

You are correct - Queen Elizabeth II became Queen on 6 February 1952 and was crowned on 2 June 1953. After our realisation (as we did indeed receive some messages from our eagle-eyed audience), we sent out a correction email to inform our readers of the mistake.

Kind regards,

Lily

Funny. There's a carbon copy of everything we do at https://boinc.n-helix.com/forum_index.php, but I doubt that Berkeley gave permission to someone in Iceland to do this.

Just a bit out of date and clicking on a reply link takes me to a page saying I am already logged in back on the real site.

Yes, I have noticed that site before, and wondered why the site is a copy of this site, and if it's really allowed to do what it does. It's been there for years if I remember correctly.
Maybe DA should be informed, if he doesn't already know about it.

It can be a grade one pain in the furniture polisher to get an "unauthorised" overseas mirror shut down so DA may have tried in the past and has given up on the never ending struggle :-(

Seems in sync now but when I checked a thread this morning from the BOINC-client thread this morning the most recent post showing was from yesterday so possibly a temorary glitch.

You guys do realise all sites are copied to the likes of "waybackmachine"? Google (used to?) cache all sites too. So I think you'll find it's not against any laws whatsoever. I can view this site now for free, so I can store it, so I can show it to anyone later.

Not sure the status of the NSF logo or the University seal on the front page, those may not be covered by the GNU license and I doubt DA has authority to wave any such rights.

Oh for goodness sake, are you gonna sue these folk too?
When did I get promoted to the Board of Regents? More importantly, where is my paycheck?!

Isn't the Board of Regents responsible for education?
What part of University of California did you miss?

BTW Their 41.6 BILLION dollar budget makes them somewhat large.
