Hi, Since updating to the latest version of BOINC I get notices every time when starting the program, that I have disabled fetching tasks for the CPU for certain application. This is intentional from my side, since I want only to fetch tasks for the GPU and it it annoying getting notified every time about this. Any idea how to disable those type of messages? Thank you! |

Hi, Unfortunately this is a project specific thing. Some projects have a setting in your profile page (on their @home web-page) where you can disable emails from this project. I just ignore them. |

This is due to the client reporting these things at startup (you can check that in the event log CTRL+SHIFT+E) as a reminder to you that you set these settings. They only happen at a client restart. And then there's a bug about it because when you have multiple projects where this is set, they won't all show in the Notifications tab. But anyway, there's no fix for this. I have an issue open about the above bug but will add to it that a lot of people (and a developer) find this behaviour annoying and that they would like for an option to silence this behaviour. |
