You haven't watched it, but you have it on your computer? In that case you are like me and are running a pirate film server.
Nope, yet again.
There is a hell of a difference.
I don't make spurious claims or false accusations.
As for inaccuracies, check out the Fi in Sci-Fi.

Btw,
No such thing as a Sci-Fi documentary.
Someone's obviously never seen Mars:
Mars is a documentary and hard science fiction television series produced by National Geographic, which premiered on November 14, 2016, on their channel, and FX.

What it means is the location of the film. As for 1000's on the one hard drive?
Really?
Where can one buy such a massive storage device?
Fortunately, not everyone is a pirate.

File compression.

You don't have to have the resolution be in 3840x2160, 1920x1080 or even smaller 1280x720 will get your filesize down.
If you then get H.265 compression instead of H.264, this compresses even better. As such a 1080p resolution file will be 3.5GB in H.264, but much smaller in H.265

I have one 8TB HDD in my NAS that holds several tens of thousands of files of TV series that aren't on television anymore that I'd like to keep.

An excellent reason & one I agree with.
I have several more as to why I put them on HD's.
Saves wear & tear on the DVD's.
Also much easier to locate using a media program rather than searching through a lot of disks,
However the main reason being greedy manufacturers using inferior quality disks.
Lost many due to that but fortunately managed to replace before they became unavailable.
Doesn't make us pirates.
As for compression, understand that.
Right or wrong, I've found that too much compression ruins the quality of the film.
As for storage capacity, that old chestnut rears its ugly head.
One makes do with what one has according to time, money & circumstances.
An argument that still rages in the Boinc world.

I prefer to buy more HDD than lower the quality, incase in the future I have a bigger or higher resolution TV to watch them on.
A very sensible option.

As you can see, no riddles, just provided the location of Artic Blast.
Surely, the same has to be true for yourself with all those HDD's.
As for paying for your TV?
LMAO,

Don't know about paying for his TV. We don't have one, don't watch one but get letters (at least one a month) asking us to let them know if we don't require a license. I refuse to do this, returning the letters with, "Junk mail, return to sender" scrawled across them. About every third letter they tell us when an inspector is going to come to check up on us. These are returned in the same manner. Their wasting money sending these letters to us is presumably one reason why the license fee isn't cheaper.

No - I don't think I'm allowed to take a day off from my pension.

But I might raise a glass on Monday.

During the national lockdown, funerals can be attended by a maximum of 30 people.
So will pomp & circumstance be an exception?

No.

The Duke of Edinburgh will not have a state funeral and there will be no lying-in-state, in line with his wishes, the College of Arms has said. The college said Prince Philip will lie at rest in Windsor Castle before a royal ceremonial funeral at St George's Chapel.

The public are "regretfully" requested not to attend due to the pandemic.
It is understood the Queen is considering modified funeral and ceremonial arrangements.
