BOINC on Android cannot add science united as an account manager

BOINC version : 7.4.53 on Android 9 (Samsung Note 8)

I can add other account managers but not Science United. Can BOINC implement this in the future.

I notice in the latest version of BOINC on Android 7.16.3
The Science United is shown as one of the account manager where user can choose.
But I put in the correct username and password. It still show failed.

Also, is there a tutorial to use the img tag for me to attach a photo.

To post images on this site you need to store them externally with an image extension (.png, .bmp, .jpg, .bmp) and link to them using the IMG tags.

Grcpool has never worked but has required some jiggery pokery on Android to get it to work. - I can't remember what now but it involved editing something in the APK code.

What you mentioned (edit the APK to add GRCPool to the list) is only for older version of BOINC on Android. The GRCPool is a valid option in BOINc for android now. But After I enter the username and password. It will show "fail"

Please forward this issue to the development team to fix.

You can do that yourself, you know? Is easier than using a middle man who cannot answer questions asked.

No one can create a new username there, they have some serious project issues.
I guess, since they've been having them for many moons (probably even years), this issue won't be resolved anytime soon.

This issue was caused by I already have another account manager (BAM!) on the BOINC on Android.

Please consider this issue closed.

There was a way to edit an file (values.xml) after you decompiled boinc with an certain app to add additional account managers like GRCPool.
Currently the days are gone in wich this tool-apps for phones are able to compile the apk "back together". (Otherwise please let me know)

Since im using GRCPool and also doing this with my phone it is crucial to me in order to mine some GRCs.

I will open an issue on github, yet i think it's nice to keep some attention on this topic since there are many GRCPool users out there (proven by the most recent top100).

Now after i spoken to the gods, he replied that he is more ore less alone on the android part.
So if anyone is capable and willing enough to join the olymp, i guess any help is appreciated.
