Very good. You must be the only user shown in the last 24 hours.
And 703.94 hours is a month!

The 6 remaining units running on here have also been running non stop a month. I'll be glad when they finish, my other projects on here are getting very little work done. Those that are left, two are showing 10.000%, two 9.000%, and two 7.000%.

Trying to decipher their status page is a bit of an art. But I think that the fact that "avg runtime of last 100 results" shows "0.00" means that nobody completes them.
It is a new form of black hole.

Currently showing one user in last 24 hours which I think means one person has completed one or more tasks. Presumably just the one as minimum and maximum time for completion are identical.

I was away for Christmas and got back last night. There are still 3 units running. Looking at my results page there is another weird thing I can see...

27854113 23081444 224658 9 Nov 2019, 19:31:28 UTC 23 Dec 2019, 8:29:18 UTC Completed and validated 3,200,154.05 2,893,638.00 2,963.69 cleanmobility.now v6.06

27854085 23081436 224658 10 Nov 2019, 9:20:35 UTC 15 Dec 2019, 5:13:32 UTC Completed and validated 2,534,163.49 2,171,624.00 23,825.30 cleanmobility.now v6.06

The shorter running unit gets ten times the credit as the longer. These are seriously weird work units.

I'll continue posting updates here in case it is of any use to them AND they think to look here, their forum is not working. One of the 3 work units I had left running, the one that was at 16% yesterday I think, jumped to 100% done overnight. As before, it is 100% but still running, uninterupted, past experience indicates it will be like that for a day or so. It has already gone from the tasks list at the project, so I will get no more info from it. BOINC Manager shows it has currently used 53d 08:16:29, increasing steadily. The last 2 work units are both still running 100% of the time and showing 19% done.

Another slightly odd thing is that the "elapsed" field for the jobs should be within a day of each other since they have never been swapped by BOINC. This is not the case. The other 2 jobs are showing 56 and 58 days elapsed.

Thanks for your efforts. But my view is that if they don't even have a forum that is functioning, they are not even in beta yet.
They are just doing alpha for their own amusement at the moment. I don't think we will able to do much for them until they get past that.

It is entirely possible that when Korth left, a lot of the practicalities of running projects went with him.

>>> don't even have a forum that is functioning

I expect I could have got a forum running, but then, I was a professional software engineer, not a scientist. I have no idea what capabilities are left with the group, I'm prepared to give them a bit of lee way, (I don't think I have needed to write "lee way" before, so it may not be written like that).

The task that was 100% disappeared by this morning. Looking at my account, there is no change. The result has not been credited. Looks like when they drop off the tasks list, anything new that pops up later is ignored. I'd like to think that someone will notice it has a result and can act upon it. The 2 work units left, (20% and 19%), continue, as they have been since early November.

QMC will need to do a lot to get me to crunch for them again.

Why have you wasted so much time on a dead project that has no support forums, gives no BOINC credits and was retired from the active project list at the stats sites several years ago?

What I saw at the start of the exercise, was an old project, that I had crunched without issue before, restarting, with at first one, but later two new sub projects. I was pleased, and added it again to two of my systems, both 4GHz i7's. It was early days, and the weird race to the first check point process was, errrm, "novel". When I saw the progress drop from 70% and change, to 1% and zero progress, I cleared the work units from one of the systems. I did this without seriously considering the status, I might not have done that now, but what is done, is done. So, not necessarily a "dead project".

The website of QMC is different, and clumsy for an experienced BOINCer, but it is not for me to decide how other groups should run their project. I suspect that in the first instance, the project was used as a teaching platform, and aspects such as the website design, were given as projects to students, who are, of course, long gone.

The jobs that completed whilst the tasks were still on the list did give credit, weirdly, sure, but they did. The job that finished today, returned, and was uncredited may be nothing to do with the team there, it may simply be that BOINC ignores or loses track of things once they have disappeared from the tasks list.

I don't know how the stats sites decide what to show. The projects relaunch carried a caveat, that it was all a bit experimental right now. As such, weird things might happen, they certainly have.

I hope one day, someone there will think to look here for actual feedback from their efforts.

>>> Why have you wasted so much time

Because I chose too.
