The newer BOINC software does have the account removal option. The trouble with that is that we cannot force projects to update their back end and forum software, to get that option. Even an API won't work here.

Didn't notice it before but on looking I can confirm it is on the 6th line down below account information near the top on the left hand side when you go to your account page on CPDN on both testing and main site branches.
