The live feed should be recorded and available later, for those in different time zones (or busy at work!). The presenter's slides are usually uploaded afterwards, and I'll watch out for the location as we go along.

I think the problem is not volunteers: if a project has continous work and admins partecipate to forums, there is a lot of volunteers in the world. The problem is on researchers, Boinc have to attract scientists. And there are a lot of things to do: clear and costantly updated documentation (some parts of boinc site are older than 10 years), encourage the use of wrapper, etc. Have a ready-to-go boinc platform is important for new projects.

I think so too. I usually have a problem finding projects with enough work, or servers reliable enough to send it out. And it should be good science, not make-work, or I won't bother.
In general, the harder the project (more memory, etc.) the more I like it.

Some considerations.
- It's not the first time that a project finished after few months, 'cause the admins said: "guys, you gave us too much power and we finished the work".
- It's not the first time that, for example during challenges, the servers of a project went overload.
- It's not the first time that volunteers partecipate very actively on forums and there is no feedback from project's admins.
- During my research for Boinc publications i found some Phd thesis on Boinc, but few. I see, in graduating/phd forums (here in Italy, i don't know in other states) students that wait for months the access to computational resources (for example with CINECA) and they don't know the existence of Boinc platform or, if they know, they think it's too difficult to implement it.
