Anyone using one or two phase immersion technology for cooling?

If so, was it via professional provider such as GRCooling etc, or have you self built it?

Did you go for one or two phase, and what liquid did you select?

Did you immerse just the mobo/components, or the whole chassis?

What were you cooling? CPU(s), GPU(s), ASIC(s)?

How many server/workstations did you cool at the same time (within one tank)?

What final method did you use to cool the heated liquid or gas?

Did you read the 3M PDF on building immersion tanks?

Please note: I am not looking for advice, just to open a discussion with people that have/are already using this cooling solution.

16 GPUs in a 2U Server!

"Allied Control talks to GIGABYTE about the live demonstration of two-phase liquid immersion cooling they have built using GIGABYTE's G291-2G0 GPU server and 16x RTX2080 GPU cards"

Not sure what I am looking at. Soap bubbles? Co2 rising from dry ice?

I am impressed.

My experience with liquid cooling includes removing the "Made In China" label from the bottom of the water block and failing to see the clear plastic protector that was under the label. Nothing got damaged, just took a while before I figure out why it was overheating. My experiment with cheap tubing for water cooling did not go as well.

I am thinking that the bitcoin miners in Siberia have it easy as they can just tick the hardware outside "immersed in snow".

Think of it as the entire computer in water, but of course it isn't water but a special fluid. Done right you run the gas that boils off, that's the bubbles, through a condenser and put it back in the tank with the computer.
