Hi,
I'm using Boinc 7.14.2 on Mac OS. I can notice that boinc_manager task sends many data to a remote server. And it looks like this activity is not linked to the network activity of Boinc Manager, ie even if I disable Network Activity on the Manager, I can notice that boinc_master still sends data from my computer.
Do you know which data is sent to a remote server and why? And how to limit it, because it sends almost 80-100 Kbytes/s?
Thank you for your help

Are you sure that the server is "remote"?

BOINC consists of two parts, the Manager and the Client. Both run on your own computer, and communicate by TCP/IP on address 'localhost' (127.0.0.1), port 31416. Check your networking tool to see if this is the traffic it is seeing.

Thank you Richard for your reply, you're totally right. I didn't notice that.
