I just installed boinc and selected a few interesting projects, and it runs on smoothly.

Problem is I have to do a task where I need boinc screen saver not to start.

How do I turn it off? I have tried just about every sensible setting in boinc, also turned off it's autostart with windows, terminated the exe-file. Nothing works. After five minutes boinc starts up and blow up it's window telling me it is not running!!

Temporarily I had to uninstall boinc, but I would like to have it back later. So how do I turn off BOINC screen saver?

Use your normal operating system screensaver management tools. Choose a different screensaver, or 'none'.

If you're using Windows, the BOINC installer gives you the option (on the 'advanced' settings page) to install the BOINC screensaver module, or not, as you wish.

Haha, no wonder I could not find the screensaver settings in windows 10. They have hidden it four clicks down, below Customization and "Lock screen". :P
