I have configured my cc_config to have <use_all_gpus>1</use_all_gpus> but it's only use 8 of the 11 GPUs.

From googling, I suspect this is due to my CPU only having 8 cores?

Is there a way to get past this limitation so I can use all 11 GPUs?

No answers but my instinct is it may be that this is a limitation of the cpu rather than BOINC. I could also imagine that especially if all 8 cores are crunching as well, you may well find that i/o is the limiting factor rather than processing power.

What work are you running with those GPUs? Which project? There might be a possibility to tweak app_config so that every GPU tasks would use smaller fraction of a core than what the default setting in that application is.

I'm running tasks from: GPUGRID, Einstein, Rosetta, Asteroids, WUProp (non-CPU-intensive), Milkyway, collatz

Any suggestion on how to split the CPU better so all GPUs are in use?

What kind of CPU do you have? Does it output enough PCIe lanes needed by all the GPUs?

How are the GPUs connected, at what slots?
