It would be great to use this and other TV sticks. Does anyone know the comparative power of Amazon vs Chromecast, Roku, etc?

Smart TVs like Vizio also have an engine that could possibly be used as well.

I would be worried about their cooling capabilities. Probably a lot of throttling due to thermal issues even if you get it side loaded.
Chromecasts don't allow for installing apps directly to it. You would have to find some way to actually hack it just to side-load the BOINC software.

I have it running on Amazon Fire and 10 tablet with Android app runner. It works!
