A project is clearly granting credit, because I can see this on the Projects tab of my BOINC Manager, however, if I look at Tasks in my account on the project website, all tasks I have completed are shown as Pending. Is there a script or something they must do to update this, if so, what so I can pass the info to them.

CPDN by chance? Those never will show as completed. The filters at the top have tasks in validation pending but the table of tasks below will eventually show them as completed.

Seems like a question for the project.

No. It is the DHEP project. I asked here because there might be a simple script that they need to run to get the job done, that they already have, but don't know that. They seem a little "new" to this.

Help with Graphics Display! I am running many tasks for Asteroids and SETI; however, I am unable to show the graphics of any of the currently run projects. It use to be easy to launch in the past and was almost automaticall launched on my browser. None of the "Show Graphics" buttons work in the Task Area i.e. they are light gray and cannot be punched/activated. Is this a system wide problem or must I do something with my settings to allow graphics to show on my browser. Please advise. Thanks Cheers David Dunlap david@r5limited.com

Not all projects have graphics, and those that do, may only have it for certain job types. I don't normally have the graphics on, wastes CPU time that could be crunching, but just tried, and few of the running tasks had a graphics option. Somewhat of a surprise, three of the Rosetta 4.07 had a graphics option, but the other did not.

... so they should not be in "Pending" in the first place should they. What is pending?

IMO from a BOINC perspective the integration is done a bit backwards. Results from BOINC tasks are fed back to DHEP server in the background along with user, team, host ID info. Then DHEP server sends credit info back to BOINC server every hour. In doing so the BOINC side loses out on some of the typical data. So there is nothing that really needs validated on the BOINC server side.

The tasks are just dummmies and data is moved in the background. You can stop the tasks resume them and end up running them for much longer than their 'deadline'. Nothing to worry about if they are pending, aborted or whatever.
