After installing https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/27484/Graphics-Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-15-65-?product=128199 BOINC no longer sees my iGPU. Aside from a driver downgrade, can anything be done? Tried a reboot? Simple answer is, when BOINC can't find your GPU, check drivers. |

Yes, I tried two reboots. Windows Update and Intel's own installer report no issues with my Intel iGPU driver. "The surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that it has never tried to contact us." - Calvin and Hobbes (Bill Watterson) |

I also tried reinstalling the driver. BOINC still believes my i5 8400's iGPU doesn't exist. "The surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that it has never tried to contact us." - Calvin and Hobbes (Bill Watterson) |

I also tried reinstalling the driver. What, the same one that made your iGPU unavailable? If that didn't work the first time, it won't make it work the second time. You'll have to hunt for older drivers, either on your system or on Intel's website. The newest isn't always the best and aren't really necessary unless you have trouble with the drivers you have. You can try Intel's 15.60.2.4901 drivers, Intel's 15.60.0.4849 drivers or Intel's 15.47 driver. I'd uninstall previous drivers where possible. |

I'm not really a fan of downgrading such a key driver. But if that is really my only option... "The surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that it has never tried to contact us." - Calvin and Hobbes (Bill Watterson) |
