I have a user account on my system without admin privledges. Trying to install the client tells me that these are required for the install. If I install with "Run As" using an admin account everything is fine and works. But after the system reboots it does not work anymore, as I assume it was installed under the admin account which I cannot use on a daily basis.

Is there any way around this?

Install BOINC as a service (3rd option in the installer). This way Boinc will run for anyone who logs on to the system. Services even start before Windows logon, so you can also log off and Boinc will keep on running.
