Hi, I don't know where exactly to post this kind of a "problem". I have 3 computers running for BOINC Projects, 2 "fast" ones (Sempron 3000+ and Pentium IV 2.4GHz) and a slow one (AMD K6-2+550).

On the slow one, I'm only running the RCN project, as these workunits don't take so long to compute. Right now, the RCN server is down due to a Hardware failure (it could be down for up to 7 days). So this computer is "unemployed". Thats why I'm looking for a list that tells me how long workunits take to calculate from every single project to choose another project with quick workunits for my AMD550MHz.

Or, is there a possibility to tell the project: "Hey, this computer is sloooowwwww, please send me short wu's only"

Thanx for your help!

Greetings from Germany, Steffen
(Excuse my english, I hope you understand what I mean...)

There are some projects with short results. I'd check the list, but the site with the Boinc Wiki is down (SATA drive problems).

From memory though, HashClash is short. As is Chess960, Leiden and some others. I'm sure other people can give more projects.

Honza from CNT is maintaining one such table (probably for his few projects), it might help you finding some suitable project.
