I awoke Saturday morning to a dead router. After replacing it one of my boxes had an invalid IP address. After spend 3 days trying to fix it I gave up and took it into a shop. I hate it when I have to spend money on computer repairs.

A windstorm yesterday took my electricity down for 5 1/2 hrs yesterday, that and my recalcitrant LAN is taking a toll on my RAC at Seti and Einstein. I'm very happy to have the electricity back since last night was the coldest in 14 mos.

One's own shall not be resuscitated for some months. Tethered to a smartphone with connectivity absent (more often than not) has been declared an exercise in F-fing futility. I wish you better luck, sir. :-)

Using the android app is a Royal Pain In The Ffing Behind. Using the naiveboinc app is the only thing that runs on this older android tablet. It is to easy to stuff up.

Einstein seems to be down, I need to upload and report.

You can report to any of us. What do you have to report? Is it good news? With bad news, there's the door....

The gravity of the data from Einstein is a heavy matter.

Sometimes a friend can be a needful thing :) I'm sorry to hear you're having crunching problems, Admiral. I read your post in another thread and I know the feeling that a depleting rac is a door closing on you. I've had help in the past keeping mine ajar until I'm able to kick it open again, and I believe in all that "pay-it-forward" stuff too :)
