Boinc worked well for years now on different Computers, on Mac's with OSX to. For some weeks now Boinc 7.6.34 doesnt start or better cant connect to local host on my MacPro with OSX.12.5. Before that it worked well! No changes in mind. Sometimes no conection to local host... try again message, sometimes a message like: tried to start boinc 3 times with crashes... boinc was aborted... or sth like this.
As I can read in Forums here, this is not a problem of my own... many(?) people are affected.
Any solution yet?

No clue. 10.12.5 and 7.6.34 work fine on two boxes here.

Have had issues with can't connect on systems before. Usually solved by adding more delay between the boot and the time starting BOINC, or making sure that virus scans are not set run on start.

Do you have a firewall? Have you tried to disable?

Can you also open the Console app (in /Applications/Utilities). Do you see Boinc errors?

Last option:

delete hdd:Library/Application Support/BOINC Data...

reinstall boinc, reinitialized, reconnect to my projects... all works fine now...
