Welcome to the café, jglrogujgv :) I do hope I pronounced that correctly... I also have the sneaky suspicion he's hoping to inspire unrest and revolution in Iran - now where have I heard that before - ohhhhhh yes ... the last time that was done... but unfortunately, it's easier to see why countries that feel threatened by the might of another country's "national-interests-just-not-in-their-own-backyard-but-someone-else's" do feel the need for a nuclear deterrent. I share fdr's hopes, but my confidence is not high. |

It's just as well our Prime Minister isn't as sensitive as your elected one is... The art of the curtsey. "The knees should be virtually connected but hers are about 10 inches apart. How she didn't fall over, I don't know. I was trying it just now and I couldn't balance." And do you know what? I'm ashamed to say that it made me laugh quite a lot more than a lot :( I know. Because is it really news? And do I approve of judgemental points being made at the expense of something so trivial... No. But I still laughed. I'm going to blame it on that whale story I posted about a little while ago. It made me so sad, my brain clung onto some light relief... and poor Theresa was it. edit: I've isolated it... v--That --v [/url] because I don't where it came from. |

Consigliere in custody pleads guilty. Will he sing like a bird in a cage? https://www.nytimes.com/2018/08/21/nyregion/michael-cohen-plea-deal-trump.html wrote: Michael D. Cohen, President Trump’s former fixer, pleaded guilty on Tuesday to campaign finance and other charges, making the extraordinary admission that he paid a pornographic actress during the 2016 presidential campaign to secure her silence about an affair she said she had with Mr. Trump. |

On another happy note Paul Manafort found guilty on eight counts. Manafort was found guilty of five tax fraud charges, one charge of hiding foreign bank accounts and two counts of bank fraud. https://www.cnn.com/2018/08/21/politics/paul-manafort-trial-jury/index.html |

But jurors were unable to reach a verdict on 10 charges Now one of the jurors reveals Manafort would have been found guilty on all counts except for 1 juror. Prosecutors will most certainly request and receive a re-trial on the 10 charges. Will they wait until after Manny's crime boss pardons him on the grounds that he's a good fella loyal to the crime family? Or wiill they wait until after he's found quilty on the charges that have not yet gone to trial? Another poignant reveal from that juror... several of the jurors are loyal Trumplings but they had no trouble putting partisan politics aside in order to uphold the law and find Manafort guilty. |

IIRC the prosecution has something like 90 days to request the retrial. They have time to play a waiting game and watch him make some more turns on the spit. He must firmly believe rump is going to pardon, but I suspect rump would have to ask Ryan if if would survive if he did. That answer might not be to Manafort's liking. |

When asked whether the White House was considering regulating Google, Trump's economics advisor Larry Kudlow told journalists "we're taking a look at it", reported the Washington PostHe should pop into Seti main & complain about malicious & personal attacks :-) |

Oh well... The EU will have to take to strip searching, including electronic devices the UK terrorists before they allow them in and then make them buy EU insurance so the EU is protected. What did you all expect anyway? |
