What's next? The smell of freshly fallen rain being a call for help from the ground that it's drowning? |

Mind you America is just as bad as here but with a big difference - There they massacre their kids in schools Not just the schools, the insanity is a fairly successful attempt to perfect Darwinian evolution. |

Not much cop when the system itself failsThe Supreme Court is the final court of appeal in the UK for civil cases, and for criminal cases from England, Wales and Northern Ireland. It hears cases of the greatest public or constitutional importance affecting the whole population. |

Was at my cousins earlier and saw this in the local rag. Accrington Observer - Brexit a 'major risk' to Hyndburn business - Labour council leaders warn Last little bit; Speaking at a council budget meeting, he said: “While Theresa May and the rest of the cabinet argue long into the night on how to get out of the mess the Conservative Party are in, we are left here to make the best guess from a list of bad options. Considering that this was an area that voted leave, can't help thinking that if there is a 2nd vote on Brexit that many might change their minds. |

Sheesh! Ain't progress a b*tch. "As the fire officer could not get through on the phone to the police force duty officer, the response of the fire service was "brought to the point of paralysis" to the "immense frustration on the firefighters' faces"." Confusion |

Thread lightly, while you're enjoying your coffee: Starbucks coffee in California must have cancer warning, judge says Starbucks Corp and other coffee sellers must put a cancer warning on coffee sold in California, a Los Angeles judge has ruled, possibly exposing the companies to millions of dollars in fines. A little-known not-for-profit group sued some 90 coffee retailers, including Starbucks, on grounds they were violating a California law requiring companies to warn consumers of chemicals in their products that could cause cancer. One of those chemicals is acrylamide, a byproduct of roasting coffee beans that is present in high levels in brewed coffee. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Elihu Berle said in a decision dated Wednesday that Starbucks and other companies had failed to show there was no significant risk from a carcinogen produced in the coffee roasting process, court documents showed. |
