What many people forget is that while most of the UK is gradually rising London is sinking faster - the tilt axis is somewhere around a line drawn from The Wash to the Severn Estuary.

A simple glance at a map would confirm that.
Such a "simple" glance shows only 2 places as after that is the Atlantic ocean. Surely those 2 "little" places are not still worrying the government?

THAT is what they were doing in the irish Sea, no other reason.
You sure it is not training for use in surveillance of the non-privileged ensuring they don't get near the privileged?

If this report is anything to go on, pretty sure the privileged in their pursuit of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$, don't give a toss for animal welfare.

G4S refuses to disclose profits

Nathan Ward said he had spoken to senior management, police, MPs and ministers but no action had been taken.
Mr Ward said he had "no faith" in the whistle-blowing systems operated within G4S and told MPs that anyone speaking out faced being "marginalised within the organisation".

Mr Ward also accused the Home Office of allowing G4S to carry out its own inquiries into allegations against it, adding that there seemed to be "an awful lot of collusion" between them.
"Who is doing an independent investigation into this?" he asked.
"This is a humanitarian crisis in what is supposed to be a civilised country and it demands a response from government."

http://thehill.com/homenews/administration/351268-nyt-mueller-warned-manafort-to-expect-an-indictment
Prosecutors on special counsel Robert Mueller's team reportedly told former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort that they planned to indict him when they picked his lock and raided his Virginia home in July.

The warning, allegedly a shock-and-awe tactic, came as federal agents combed through Manafort's computer files, documents and any other potential pieces of evidence that could help them in their federal investigation, The New York Times reported Monday, citing two people close to the investigation.

The jarring comment is part of the approach Mueller and his team have embraced since May when the Justice Department named them to lead the high-profile investigation earlier, which aims to intimidate witnesses and possible targets of the probe, the newspaper reported.

The right to pick a lock and enter Manafort's home unannounced, even with a warrant in hand, means prosecutors had to convince a federal judge that Manafort would likely try to destroy evidence upon making themselves known.

So will the Grand Jury list an un-indicted co-conspirator?

I don't know if the following is accurate or not ..... ??????
But I read on the web somewhere (I can't remember where now) that it is a commond practise of US Prosecutors to use the threat of indictment to try to get a wittnes to "flip"
If Mueller's team can threaten criminal charges against Manafort, they could use that as leverage to convince him to cooperate ?????

Byron, yes it is a common practice to over charge if they think the person has evidence they can use against another. Very common in drugs, where the bust the street level dealer and force him to inform on the distributor. They use this to try and get up to the head of the cartel.

https://www.voanews.com/a/trump-calls-for-world-action-against-north-korea-iran-venezuela-/4035239.html
He told the opening session of the U.N. General Assembly that the U.S. "will have no choice but to totally destroy" North Korea
And what does Kim have that prevents that from happening today as it did to Iraq? Kim's nukes. And how is this attempt to bully Kim going to work? We all know the only tool tRump has ever used is bully. Look at how many times he has run to court! Unfortunately there is no court he can get Kim in. Kim is a bully and he isn't going to be out bullied by what he sees as a weak fool. tRump has just cemented that Kim will have nukes forever.

Is tRump really that ignorant he can't find any other tool to apply to a problem other than bully? We know his daddy was KKK, so perhaps being a bully is all he has ever known in his life. So sad.

I ain't knocking the position Trump holds at the moment I'm just saying that he should shut his mouth and stop tweeting his B/S every five minutes on things like this he has got F/A experiance of e.g POLITICS .
Having a go at the person is completly different and if you can't understand that small fact there's NO hope for you !!!

I might have to watch Dr Strangelove again - in case the last opportunity to gets* becomes suddenly imminent...

It's lovely to see you Byron :)

edit: it needed a comma. It has one now.
another edit: I'm not sure it does after all so I've removed it.
*Third edit.

No one yet with this one? Ban social media trolls from voting, election watchdog suggests
Banning social media trolls from voting could help reduce the amount of abuse faced by politicians, the election watchdog has said.
The Electoral Commission says legislation around elections should be reviewed and new offences could be introduced.

Campaigning on a ballot of fear-mongering and division doesn't help. Nor does having editors in your back pocket helping with the dirty work. I'd like to see that cleaned up first or at least at the same time. Will it matter to a social media troll not being able to vote?

I thought they were the only ones who did vote, the rest being so turned off by their rotting bile they just stayed away.
