Does BOINC automatically use a second GPU in my Mac Pro?

I have only one display attached, but I do have a "headless accelerator" plugged in to a Thunderbolt port. Both displays (real one and headless one) appear to be using only one GPU. I see only one BOINC task at a time running on a GPU.

Is it possible to use both GPUs? Do I have to do anything?

BOINC 7.6.34 on Mac OS Sierra 10.12.5 on Mac Pro (Late 2013) 3 GHz 8-core
