The problem is they just pulled it from consideration. They didn't kill it. It will be back like a bad penny.

I am hoping they get so tied up with other stuff that they just forget about it. But I take nothing for granted.

So I assume from that you believe the all people who post go-fund me appeals are crooks?

Especially the ones at SETI@Home

If that is not what you mean then perhaps you could explain.

Please point out where i said what you did in your post , should be careful Bernie " reading things " into posts that are not said could find yourself in court for things like that & i've taken a " screenshot" just in case you wish this to go further .

I know you think " I'm Scum" but i ain't stupid Bernie and NEVER under estimate me , i might be a one legged amputee but i ain't stupid . I made a " observation " that everyone knows is true . Your post "twists" my words so best you stop that right now .

EDIT :
Screenshots have been uploaded to one drive and links to them have been sent to a couple of mates just incase this computer " goes down" , things do happen don't they . Ain't " messing " Bernie i'm very serious .

Can we see threats of legal action off the boards please.

IMV, those that threaten rarely carry them through. It's best to just compile evidence then act if necessary.

Mark, no disrespect but your post was contentious as you stated a "certain 3 people". With my post referring to Just Giving, the inference in yours could easily be taken to mean Go fund me & those that use it.

Good point Sirius but i didn't say what a person said i did , i've done what i posted and yea everyone knows exactly what i ment BUT i DIDN'T say what Bernie posted , there's a BIG difference . I ain't going to let him or anyone " put words into my mouth" .

I'm quite happy to " drop it" got better things to worry about than some poxy message board .
UNLIKE a lot of " posters" i've got a life and i'm happily living it , even if i'm a amputee , least i'm working and earnig and NOT taking from the system nowadays .

Now it's time for a TRIPPLE Simpsons on C4 then the race re run to be watched ( saw it live on sky feed but results can change " fail scrutinerrin" etc ;-) but was a good race and i've got me tickets for " Spa " ready in a few months ( with a side trip to "dam" to stock up on certain items ;-) )

Absolutely! The BHL's keep opening their traps saying that smokers cost the NHS £5 billion a year but Conveniently forget to mention the £13 Billion a year in taxes they get from us.

Could see em doing the same as some states in the USA and legalising weed , i smoke the " herb " and if they did , they could " control" the stuff and think of the taxes you would be able to collect . Look on the news and some states have collected millions of $rs in a year from it .
And how often do you see a " bust" going on least 1 a week here in the " local rag" is being reported here ( suffolk ) .
Cannabis ain't the answer to everything and there's side effects but "in moderation" under control it's better for you than alchohol but same as drinking NO driving etc .

Could be a very nice revenue stream for the country + take a load of pressure off the court system and Police , Fire and Ambulance servises who could spend their time "dealing" with more serious incidents .

Well I though I use the words "assume" and "you believe"

I was asking for clarification because these boards are public.

I was accusing you of nothing.

I just wanted the record straight.

Does any politican know when to keep their traps shut? It would make more sense to work quietly in the back office rather than gob off to the media.

And instead he starts trying to cover his ass with screenshots.

You don't know me and i ain't covering my arse , took the screenshots after posted that post not hours later . not taking back what i posted so if you got a problem that's your not mine , like on main you're a troll and a T.F.Y and do yourself a favor and " wind your neck in " :-) , this has nothing to do with you so you're just trying to " fish" and it ain't going to work ;-)

And just coz Bernie happens to be a " mod" on main that means f.a to me , ain't worried by anyone

That's basicly the same as " Apple" unlocking that phone a few months back , can't see there being a easy solution to the " problem "
One side you got " public protection " and the other there's the " civil libitys" side , you're never going to please 100% of the people all the time but terrorists probably make up < 5% ( probably being very generous there ) of everything and as tech " grows" new ways are found to circomvent the authoritys .
Always has been and always will be , never change human nature no matter how hard you want to try to .
Same as flying to the USA you give them your phone , laptop passwords etc , know exactly what i would say to em ;-)
But won't ever happen even if a lot of my family live there coz ain't ever planning on going there

What's the point of Amber Rudd saying that on national TV total no brainer int it " let's tell everyone what were plannin " ( S.F.T ) in the Andrew Marr interview this morning ,Only good thing is she's not so much a robot as Liz Truss is and can actuly manage a sentence without pausing ;-)

My understanding of libel law is that it is not those who respond to a potentially defamatory statement who have to concern themselves, but those that make them in the first instance.

Then there are questions as to whether there was malicious intent? Can what is being inferred be proved demonstrably false? Does it damage the reputation and standing of others?

Only if one can answer no to the first two, and "with just cause" to the last, is one safe in their refusal to retract. In addition, cyber-libel, if proven, is likely to carry harsher penalties than standard libel, due to the wider audience it can reach.

Nothing to do with me ;-) but food for thought nevertheless.

You have returned to politics, Mr S. :-) An about face, three point turn, or four day turn around I wonder? :-)

So you are not just stirring it then???

My dear sir, to compete in a field in which you excel was not my intention. ;-) When it comes to written content, I had a working knowledge of law that used to stand me in good stead. I thought it pertinent under the circumstances to share it. If you have a problem with that, perhaps you should share that?
