Man-o-man that is a heap of stuff. I am using 7.6.23 (64)and under activity there was once a check box to select "GPU" it is simply not there any longer.

You may think I have it in for you, but really you are not giving enough information for any of us to give a reasonable answer as to what is wrong. That's why we want more information, in the form of:
Post the first 40 - 100 lines from your BOINC Event Log (CTRL+SHIFT+E), including it showing what your BOINC is doing, which project tasks it is running.

By doing so you are giving a lot more information than trying to explain what you saw.

For instance: there never was a "GPU check box" anywhere in BOINC. There are check boxes for the various GPUs in the project preferences, but that's not inside the client.

Loss of the GPU, where it worked before but now no more is usually attributed to:
1. Loss of drivers.
2. Installing BOINC as a service.

Posting the start up messages shows us a lot of information.

2/20/2016 9:16:49 AM | | Running as a daemon (GPU computing disabled)

You have BOINC installed as a service.

To fix this, uninstall BOINC through add/remove programs.
Reinstall BOINC using the 7.6.23 installer.
In the third screen in, click Advanced.
On the next screen uncheck "Service install".
Then continue the installation as normal.

When installing BOINC as a service, the limited user account that BOINC then runs with is not able to read the driver services, which are sandboxed elsewhere in Windows. This is a Windows security measure, it's not something BOINC can fix.

Message 68157 - Posted: 6 Mar 2016, 21:00:01 UTC

I have a similar issue, but my twist is that only one of my GPU's will run work. They are not SLI compatible, but now under the latest NVidia drivers and windows 10 updates they both launch correctly in Windows, but as you see only one is active in BOINC. How do I fix that?

I see no sign of a config line like

05-Mar-2016 22:05:39 [---] Config: use all coprocessors

Since the two GPUs aren't the same, you need to configure BOINC to use them both, if that's what you want.

Option <use_all_gpus> from Client configuration

did you mean the drop down list in Activity and the 3 choices of Run Always for CPU, Use GPU Always for GPU & Network activity always?

If when BOINC launches and it doesn't find a GPU it will not show the option.

At the start of your BOINC event log, what do you see? I see this:

4/2/2016 4:38:40 AM | | Starting BOINC client version 7.6.29 for windows_x86_64
4/2/2016 4:38:40 AM | | log flags: file_xfer, sched_ops, task
4/2/2016 4:38:40 AM | | Libraries: libcurl/7.47.1 OpenSSL/1.0.2g zlib/1.2.8
4/2/2016 4:38:40 AM | | Data directory: D:\BOINC_data
4/2/2016 4:38:40 AM | | Running under account Ralph
4/2/2016 4:38:46 AM | | CUDA: NVIDIA GPU 0: GeForce GTX 750 Ti (driver version 361.91, CUDA version 8.0, compute capability 5.0, 2048MB, 1668MB available, 1606 GFLOPS peak)
4/2/2016 4:38:46 AM | | CUDA: NVIDIA GPU 1 (not used): GeForce GTX 550 Ti (driver version 361.91, CUDA version 8.0, compute capability 2.1, 1024MB, 816MB available, 691 GFLOPS peak)
4/2/2016 4:38:46 AM | | OpenCL: NVIDIA GPU 0: GeForce GTX 750 Ti (driver version 361.91, device version OpenCL 1.2 CUDA, 2048MB, 1668MB available, 1606 GFLOPS peak)
4/2/2016 4:38:46 AM | | OpenCL: NVIDIA GPU 1 (ignored by config): GeForce GTX 550 Ti (driver version 361.91, device version OpenCL 1.1 CUDA, 1024MB, 816MB available, 691 GFLOPS peak)

This explains why my PC is only using 1 GPU. That is what I am trying to work out.

I had the same problem as you as I was working out what driver was going to work with my 2 different GPU's until a windows 10 update fixed that discrepancy. Now I need to work out how to get BOINC set up to use both.

No. Richard refers you to follow a link, which describes how you set the option - typically in the cc_config.xml file.
