Why new projects

Since each project is controlled separately, the decision as to the number of ALPHA testers lies with the controlling group, not with BOINC. In ths respect, BOINC is more like a bus -- simply a way of getting to one workplace or another and back again, however, the bus company does not control the "hiring" of workers at the various sites ... (I can even remember someone high up in the ranks giving this reason when asked to put the news about a project on BOINC). Now every new project seems to get attention as soon as the emerge.
